This BOSS FA-1 FET Amplifier was manufactured in Descember 1988 according to the Boss Pedal Serial Decoder. And is made in Japan.

The Volume control can be used as unity gain or set as a gain booster to give your amp or distortion pedal a notch.

There are some scratches, but it still works well almost 35 years after it was manufactured.

The BOSS FA-1 was released in early 1984 as part of the BOSS Pocket Series. It was used by U2 guitarist The Edge during the “Unforgettable Fire” era.

There is no AC adapter terminal and the main body itself is only driven by a 9V battery.
