Alton Bay Ice runway was open for two weeks in 2021. Sunday 2/21 was a perfect day for general aviation pilots to test their skill landing on an ice runway. The great weather drew many planes to the only FAA-approved ice runway that day, and the airport pattern filled with planes waiting to land.


FUD is Foreign Object Debris. At 1:35 a pilot announces that he saw a piece of aircraft on the runway.
