Dr. Jennifer Griggs received a bachelor's degree in biology and English at Mount Holyoke College and her medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo. After finishing a residency in internal medicine and serving as chief resident at the University of Rochester, she completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology and a second fellowship in health services research. Dr. Griggs also obtained a master of public health degree from the University of Rochester and then joined the university's faculty for seven years, serving as director of the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program. Dr. Griggs has a research program focusing on issues facing breast cancer survivors, patient-physician communication and quality of cancer care.
