I bought 6 bags of cut green beans from Wal-Mart and put them in the freezer. Well, I'm running out of space, so I decided to canning them. After asking numerous people if I should, the resulting response was pretty much split 50/50. Half said they'd come out soggy, The other half said they'd be fine.
So, I took the chance and decided to can them as "Southern Style Green Beans".
I thawed them out in the refrigerator and then cold canned them. Beans, bacon, onion, chicken stock, canner and water were all cold.
As you see for yourself, them seem to not be soggy!
