Let’s learn how to make Pakistani Style Aloo Matar Shorba in simple quick and easy steps all at the convenience of your home kitchen.
Ingredients :
• Oil ¼ Cup
• Onion 1 Large
• Tomato Paste ¼ Cup
• Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tsp
• Green Chili Paste 1 Tsp
• Potato 3 Medium
• Green Peas 500 Grams
• Green Chili 1-2
• Julienne Cut Ginger 1 Tbsp
• Fresh Coriander 1 Tbsp
• Cinnamon Stick 1
• Black Cardamom 1
• Cloves 2
• Black Pepper Corns 4
• Cumin Powder 1 Tsp
• Coriander Powder 1 Tsp
• Red Chili Powder 1 Tso
• Salt To Taste
• Paprika Powder ½ Tsp
• Turmeric Powder ¼ Tsp
• All Spices Powder ½ Tsp
• Nutmeg & Mace Powder ¼ Tsp
• Green Cardamom Powder 1 Pinch
• Water As Required
Method :
• Put a pan on medium flame
• Add and heat oil
• Add onion , fry until golden , takeout from oil and grind
• Add whole spices and fry until crackle
• Add tomato paste , ginger garlic paste , green chili paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes
• Add onion paste ad mix
• Add water , red chili powder , salt , turmeric powder , paprika powder , cumin and coriander powder and mix
• Add potato and green peas and cook 2-3 minutes , add water , cover and cook until vegetables done
• Add all spices powder , nutmeg & mace powder , green cardamom powder , green chili , ginger , coriander , cover and simmer on low flame for 2 minutes
• Super delicious aloo matar ka salan is ready
