In this clip, #Sharmila Tagore shared some memories associated with her children. “I was at the peak of my career when Saif was born…and I was busy, busy, busy!” said Tagore and further added that this was not the case when her girls were born. Tagore shared with Sanjoy K. Roy and the audience at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2018 that when her daughters went for a school interview at Bombay International, instead of telling them the names of their parents, they said they were the children of ‘Aba’ and ‘Ama’.

This was because Tagore did not let a film environment dominate in the private setting of their homes. “We were pretty normal!” she said. Tagore claimed that with Saif, she missed almost everything and only somehow managed to get the milestones. But when her girls were growing up, Tagore was able to participate in their school events and also said that her daughter Soha has always ensured to include her in all her firsts - this was not the case with the other two!
