Celery can be fed to your guinea pigs in moderation around 1-2 times a week. If they are fed too much of it, it could lead to urinary tract stones! Also, celery stalks have hard to chew strings that run along the length of it so be sure to chop it up into ½” pieces to ensure that the guinea pig does not choke. The portion size per guinea pig should be a sixth of a stalk of celery and you should never give them a whole stalk of celery! Celery is a hit or miss with guinea pigs, does your guinea pig like celery? Let us know in the comments below!

Did you notice the little YELLOW triangle at the corner of the thumbnail? For all veggie and fruit ASMR videos, we will tag it with green, yellow or red depending on how often you can feed it to your piggies!
GREEN: Veggie/Fruit can be a staple in your piggy's diet.
YELLOW: Veggie/Fruit should be eaten only a couple times a week.
RED: Veggie/Fruit should be only given to them as little as once a week.
We used our GuineaDad Liners and Crunchy Condo for this fun video because it makes veggie and fruit eating sessions comfortable and easy to clean up. Check them out here:
