A Magical Kauai Elopement
Lauren & Jeremy exchanged their heartfelt vows on this beautiful Kauai beach just moments after sunrise. They wandered through sand and across the oceanside cliffs and ended the day with a gorgeous Hawaii sunset on one of the North Shore beaches of Kauai.
When Lauren & Jeremy reached out to us looking for an elopement location that wanted to have the ocean, warm weather and mountain views, we knew that Kauai would be a great fit. When we suggested it to them, they booked their flights almost immediately!
They had never been to Kauai before so it was very important for them to have help and guidance on how to plan their elopement day, where to stay and what to do. We had already been to Kauai two times prior, so we were able to provide them with location ideas for their ceremony and portrait sessions as well as some activities and sights to see while they were on the island. Lauren & Jeremy booked an 8 hour elopement package so we could design an elopement day timeline with a sunrise ceremony, a mid day break and a sunset portrait session.
We started at Lauren & Jeremy's airbnb with them getting ready early in the morning. Then we headed out to the beach as the sun started coming up. Being there that early, we were practically the only ones on the beach. They said their vows on with the waves crashing behind them just after sunrise, then we explored the cliffs along the ocean and took in the beautiful views. From there, we took a mid day break to eat and relax. Then we met up for a sunset session on a Northern shore beach with mountain views. For this session, they changed into more casual outfits which added variety to their photos and video. Plus, they were ready to go for their final part of the day, a Hawaiian Lūʻau to end the night.
