In this video we explore different ways to plate spaghetti. So often we default to simply putting it in a bowl, topped with a sauce and maybe a small garnish, and putting it on the table… but how can we plate it to make it look more exciting and appealing?

In this video we start with a pot of cooked spaghetti, and 3 different sauces. Then we go on to create a variety of different plates, twirling up the spaghetti and making it more exciting and appealing. We also explore ways to use garnishes to add that special finishing touch.

I hope after watching this video you're inspired to try plating your spaghetti differently. I'm sure you'll be surprised with the amazing creations you can come up with.

===== RECIPE =====

= Kale Pesto =
- 1 bunch of kale, ribs and stems removed, briefly blanched in boiling water
- 1/3 cup walnuts or other nuts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- 30g (1 oz) parmesan cheese, finely grated
- Salt and pepper

Method: Blitz it all together in a food processor or similar
Makes sauce for approximately 4 portions of spaghetti
