As a huge Bondi Rescue fan, I decided to google the band who plays the theme song "In the Summertime" and discovered all the other songs that I would've never found if not for the show. This song has become one of my favorites of all time and I'm still in sad shock that so few people in the states know about Thirsty Merc and piano god Rai Thistlethwayte.

I remember listening to this song for like the 50th time and still my eyes would tear up because just how could he make one word sound so lonely yet hopeful in two notes? This is a song that I'm grateful to have been alive for, and lucky enough to have found.
