In 1997, Eberhard & Co launched its 8 Days movement. This is a mechanical mechanism that needs to be wound only once a week. This extra-long power reserve is possible thanks to two overlapping mainsprings, each of which measures more than 1.5 meters. By comparison, a regular mainspring is no longer than 30 centimeters.
