In this episode, we try to get back on track with the build and finish reinforcing the rear subframe mounting points. We also manage to remove the front end suspension, soft mount the chassis mount shifter, and get to work a little on the k24 swapped e30 as well!
The subframe mounting points on e36's are notorious for cracking and even separating from the chassis so we highly recommend welding in reinforcements if you plan on driving your car harder than regular use or if you just want that piece of mind.
The front end came off without a hitch and we will be installing our reinforced subframes for the front and rear along with new polyurethane bushings all around which should make the car feeler more predictable and responsive than stock oem rubber replacements.
