Before I even arrived in Dhaka, Bangladesh, I heard it has possibly the worst traffic jams in the world. It can take hours to get from one end to the other. A chaotic mix of taxis, motorcycles, bicycles, donkeys, rickshaws, pedestrians. At one intersection I even witnessed a cop with a stick beating rickshaw drivers to hold them back.
