**I forgot to mention in the video, do not use this technique on your eyelids or other sensitive or high risk areas. Let a physician do that!**

There are a lot of methods out there: tying it off, alcohol, freezing, compound w, etc. My method is cheaper, simpler and guaranteed to work. Skin tags usually occur in areas with creases, such as the arm pits and the neck, but can occur anywhere on the body. This method of removal will cause the site where your tag was to bleed. When we do them in the office, we use cautery to stop the bleeding. You won't have this luxury at home. You need to be ready to apply pressure with bandages and to put a bandaid on them. All you need are nail clippers and tweezers. Lastly, you can do these on your own in the mirror, but my advice is to have someone help you. The last thing you want to do is to overbite and take off more skin than just the tag. Good luck!
Removing skin tags at home is easy, but if you’re not sure if it’s a skin tag, SEE YOUR DOCTOR. These are also known as fibroepithelial polyp, acrochordon, acrochorda, benign skin tumor. They can be caused by HPV 6 which is a viral skin infection. This is strictly a cosmetic thing as they are harmless as long as they are truly skin tags.
