The first part of the video shows the crater floor of Halema'uma'u rising and sometimes dropping a bit. For the most part the crater floor around the lava lake has risen 40' (12 meters). Also the webcam captured a steam devil whirlwind. A new dominant lava fountain is erupting a little farther west of the fountain that was very active before 29 January 2023. Kilauea volcano is located on the southern part of the Big Island of Hawai'i. The eruption takes
place in an off limits area at the summit of Kilauea inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
