The yoruba people are a West African ethnic Group who mainly inhabit parts of Nigeria, Benin, Togo & Volta Region of Ghana. The yoruba’s constitute more than 48 million people in Africa and much more after the continent.
The Ewe people are the native and largest ethnic group of the volts Region (Togoland / British Togoland ) they consist of several sub groups such as the Anlo Ewe, Tongu Ewe, Wedome Ewe, Ave Ewe, Avenor Ewe.
Considering the fact that the Ewe people came from the yoruba kingdom of Nigeria, we decided to compare their to understand if there are cultures in the Ewe community that traces back to Yoruba culture
