For almost 20 years, the D.C. Everest School District ran an oral history program, resulting in 26 books of local history. Hundreds of students talked to local residents about their experiences on a variety of topics, and then create books to tell their stories.

History Chats are presented in cooperation with the Marathon County Public Library.
