Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carried a US Space Force satellite into orbit. The rocket took off from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Bloomberg's Ed Ludlow and NASA expert Keith Cowing join "Balance of Power."
The SpaceX Falcon 9 launched the GPS III Space Vehicle 05 mission from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Thursday.
This was the second launch and landing of this Falcon 9 stage booster, which previously supported the launch of GPS III Space Vehicle 04.
Following stage separation, SpaceX landed Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, located in the Atlantic Ocean.
