Here are four different shots. Can you spot the differences? Wrist shot, then wrist-snap shot, then snap shot and finally a slap shot.
Wrist shot for form and accuracy. It’s the first shot we learn to take. Snap shot for power. Wrist-snap shot to combine those movements into a more advanced and natural movement. Slap shot is our most powerful shot.
For all these shots, we work on technique first, then technique with power, then technique with power and accuracy then all of those components plus a shoot-to-score mentality with every single shot we take - especially in our stationary shot practices on the ice or on the driveway.
Who has a great place at home they can practice their shots like this? 🙋🏽♂️🙋🏻🙋🏾♀️🏒🥅
