The sister of slain anti-apartheid activist, Hector Pieterson, Antoinette Sithole says the anniversary of the Soweto Uprisings brings pain and agony to her and her family. Sithole was speaking at a Youth Day commemoration in East London on the 45th anniversary of the Soweto Uprisings.
Sithole called on the youth of today to emulate the youth of June 1976 in their fight for economic emancipation.
