Yes, you'll definitely need to memorize new words for the SAT, but that's only a part of the overall vocabulary strategy. More often, the SAT makes questions hard by manipulating the structure of the passage. Dumb Summaries (episode 1) will help us stay focused on the right ideas, especially positive and negative connotations, but we'll also dive deeper to make slightly smarter summaries that capture important ideas in the sentences. And of course, I'll give you my tips on how to memorize new words!
NOTE: None of the sample questions in this series are from the official practice tests on the Bluebook app. You can watch all episodes without spoiling any of the practice tests.
