Recipe
INGREDIENTS: 1 Cup Instant Oats
- 1 Cup Coconut Milk
- 1 Cup Desiccated Coconut
- ½ Cup Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Raisins
- 10-12 Soaked & Peeled Almonds
- ¼ Tsp Cinnamon Powder
- 1 Tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1 Cup Water
METHOD:
1) In a deep bottomed pan or kadhai add some coconut milk
2) Add in oats & let it cook Cook till the mix is a become a little concentrated
3) Add in the cardamom powder & raisins
4) Add in the sugar. Mix well
5) Let it cook for some time
6) The actual & final consistency of the mixture will appear only after it is off the flame.
7) So, make sure that the mix is still a little moist when you switch off the flame & allow it to cool down
8) For best results, use a plate & flatten the mix out. This will help it to cool faster Pat the mixture with your hands to flatten it out further.
9) Make sure that you have dipped your hands in water before doing so.
10) This is because water will keep the mix a little moist & also prevent your hands from taking in the heat of the freshly cooked oats & coconut laddu mix Once cold, divide & roll the mix into equal sized balls
11) Roll them in desiccated coconut & press a piece of almond down from the top
