Compass pose, or also known as sundial pose is an elegant and challenging posture that requires a huge amount of flexibility in the hamstrings, shoulders and side body. It may seem difficult at the start, but it can be easy to enter if we understand the mechanics behind the posture. Watch this short tutorial where I will be guiding you on how to practice coming into Parivrtta Surya Yantrasana. I will also include several key preparatory poses that will be useful for you to practice in order to open the necessary parts of your body to enter this pose.
If you get the foundations right from the start and with constant practice, you will notice quicker progression along your journey. Don't give up. With practice, all is coming.
