Learn how to create card layering templates that is geared to help you design your cards more effortlessly and efficiently. Layer Measurements:
The standard card base is measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
Then for one set of templates of layers or mats, I took off a 1/4" all around.
1st layer: 5 1/4" x 4"
2nd Layer: 5" x 3 3/4"
3rd Layer: 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
4th Layer: 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
5th Layer: 4 1/4" x 3"
6th Layer: 4" x 2 3/4"
7th Layer: 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"
8th Layer: 3 1/2" x 2 1/4"
Then you create your next set of templates taking off 1/8". Start with the size of the base of your card and go from there. Example Base 4 1/4" x 51/2"
1st Layer: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
2nd Layer: 5 1/4" x 4"
etc
