In this video I compare two great amps (1984 Marshall JCM800 1959 100watt 4 hole & 20watt Friedman JJ Jr head) running occasionally Cali76 stacked edition-FAT compressor by Origin Effects. Both amps plugged through 80s Marshall 1960B cabinet loaded with Rola Celestion G12 m25 75hz Pulsonic cones 1973 greenbacks mic'ed up with Shure SM57 & RoyerR121 into Neve 1073lb and Chandler TG2-500 pres
For fun I put just a bit of plate reverb from Neunaber Immerse reverberator recorded on a separate stereo track
No post eq.
The only thing I did in post processing I had to raise the track level of the 20 watt Friedman by 5 db to equal the 100 watt Marshall.
