On the 28th-29th June 2017, HESTIA members in Chiang Mai went to two schools in Sankampaeng (โรงเรียนบวกค้างและโรงเรียนวัดป่าตึงห้วยยาบ). The participants were children from age 10-14 years old, which we ran geriatric simulation activities with aim of teaching how the elders feel. In โรงเรียนบวกค้าง, there were around 60 students who participated, while in โรงเรียนวัดป่าตึงห้วยยาบ, there were around 30 students who participated. The students wore gears which made have the sense of stiffness, heaviness, and difficulty in seeing, moving, and hearing. There were 4 parts of the activities: walking, charades, eating, sewing, and cataloging.
