Are Walking Simulators ACTUALLY Fun?
Walking sim games have this negative stigma of not really being a "game" in the traditional sense. Yeah, you control a character and can beat the game, but there's no deep or complex mechanics to master. I decided to test for myself if walking sim games are actually fun as an outsider to this genre.
I chose ABZU because the movement seemed more fun than other games in the genre and the graphics are beautiful and vibrant. I always like experimenting with genres I don't think I'll like to see if I can prove myself wrong. Walking simulators definitely seems like a genre I won't like, but who knows, maybe ABZU can sway my opinion.
