DBS is embarking on a net zero path that is consistent, pragmatic, inclusive, and sustainable. The bank became a signatory of the Net-Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA) in October 2021. To cement our commitment, we mapped out a concrete and comprehensive plan that is among the most ambitious in the global banking industry.
The sectoral targets are aligned with science-based decarbonisation glidepaths for nine industry sectors covering Power, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Aviation, Shipping, Steel, Real Estate, Food & Agribusiness and Chemicals. These sectors collectively account for majority of global Green House Gas (GHG) emissions.
