Some aerial drone footage from a group hike that started in Sintra and went through Sintra-Cascais Natural Park then I ended with a hike to Cabo Da Roca, the westernmost point of Continental Europe on the coast of Portugal.
If you're planning to visit the magical town of Sintra just north of Portugal's capital Lisbon then I highly recommend doing some hiking in Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. The forests are beautiful and the hiking trails into the heart of the park start between the Pena Palace and the Castle of the Moors.
My favourite part of Sintra-Cascais Natural Park was Anta de Adrenunes (pictured twice toward the end of the drone video), an ancient neolithic site overlooking Cabo Da Roca. This was one of the most awe-inspiring places I've visited, set in a very lush forest that gets the winds and rain off the wild Atlantic.
I also highly recommend hiking around Cabo da Roca to Praia da Ursa, which is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited (the spectacular rock formations are pictured at the end of the video).
