Problem with Logic is his execution and flow. That’s where he tends to borrow a lot from his contemporaries like Kendrick. I see Logic as a VERY talented hip-hop fan that pays homages to the greats and acknowledges his influences on his songs rather than a hip-hop artist. He doesn't have an own voice in hip-hop.

Logic is a great artists btw, in my top 20 of the new generation, Listen to his last album if you haven’t already !
