1. President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic
2. SOUNDBITE (English) Aleksandar Vucic, President of Serbia:
"I hope that Serbia will carry on a, on its, of course, EU path, but on a path of stability, tranquility and peace and of course of on its way of economic prosperity as well, and this is of an utmost importance, of an utmost significance of this country for our people, and I'm almost certain that people will decide like I have already said, and I believe that we'll have a much bigger turnout than last time. And also that is something that I'm going to be very satisfied with. And of course, we do expect a huge victory. That's what we worked for the last four or five years, and we believe that we're going to continue with a great effort and of course, with a great contribution to the development of this country. Thank you."

STORYLINE:
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Sunday he expects "huge victory" for his party in presidential election as voting began on Sunday.
Some 6.5 million voters are choosing the president, a new parliament and local authorities in the capital, Belgrade, and over a dozen other towns and municipalities.
Opinion surveys ahead of the vote have predicted that Vucic will win another five-year term and that his right-wing Serbian Progressive Party will yet again dominate the 250-member assembly.
But opposition groups stand a chance to win the majority in Belgrade, analysts say.
This would deal a serious blow to the populists' decade-old unchallenged rule in Serbia.
