In Season 16 of Sister Wives, Christine Brown made the decision to leave Kody and the other wives. In the wake of Christine leaving, fans of the series have speculated that another one of Kody's wives, Janelle Brown, may be the next to leave. But there are some signs that Janelle may have already jumped ship and secretly split from her husband and the polygamist lifestyle. Janelle is Kody's second wife out of the four. They've been "spiritually married" since 1993 and they share six kids. Audiences saw the tension grow between Kody and Janelle throughout the latest season. Their Relationship issues were magnified by the pandemic and the two could not see eye to eye on rules and guidelines for their family to follow. While Robyn and Meri followed Kody's strict set of rules, Christine and Janelle seemed to be more in tune. Where the pandemic seemed to put strain on Kody and Janelle’s relationship, it strengthened the bond between Janelle and Christine. The two women chose to travel and spend time with their adult children over spending time with their husband. As Christine began her separation from Kody, Janelle supported her every step of the way. And in seeing the positive impact the separation had on Christine, Janelle could be leaning more towards a split than ever before. In the Season 16 Finale, Janelle opened up about her marital problems and hinted at possibly leaving, saying, “with Kody and I right now, our relationship is pretty strained. And you know, it’s easy to walk away.”
