Jack Meehan was born in Ireland in 1924. In this clip he recalls some of his earliest memories of the Ballyroan Band. His father, John Meehan was one of the founding members of the Ballyroan Band in the 1880's. His brothers Jimmy and Paddy were both members of the Ballyroan Band. Whenever Jack returns to Ireland, he gathers with the Band in Ballyroan or in Ladywell.
