The Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas has such an elegant design, nothing else on the road even compares. My 1995 XJ6 Vanden Plas isn't quite an antique or classic Jaguar motorcar, but it still turns heads everywhere I drive it. In my opinion, it's the best looking car every built.
The sleek lines, distinctive front grill, and handsome headlight contours make the Jag a true standout. The years 1995, 1996, and 1997 Jaguar XJ6 models are considered to be pure Jaguars, certainly much better than the new XJ's that resemble Kia's.
When people check out this car, they are immediately drawn to the picnic tables in the back seat. Of course, the picnic tables were envisioned for the use of wealthy owners who could afford chauffeurs. Hence, Jaguar made the back seat of the XJ model a real priority.
Whenever I let people in the back seat, it's common for them to recreate the Grey Poupon "Pardon Me" commercial. For some reason, intimidating a British aristocrat asking for mustard is the fist thing to come to their mind while seated in the back seat of a Jag.
This is just a quick overview of XJ6 Vanden Plas. While I love the car, Jaguar ownership hasn't been all love stories and fairy tales - the car requires a dedicated owner who is willing to go the extra mile.
That may involve trial and error to find a mechanic who is skilled and comfortable working on Jaguars and also time dedicated to searching for parts and accessories.
In the end, it's all worth it as this is a truly remarkable car. I plan to make more videos in the future as I continue to restore my Jag. Please subscribe and comment!
