Jason Kline: "I'm jealous of your first concert. Mine was Green Day with Pansy Division in November 1994 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Filmed for MTV's 'Green Day - Jaded in Chicago,' it was right after Dookie came out, but there were a lot of fans of Kerplunk! and their other Lookout albums. I still have the shirt from that show to this day. Dark green with the Dookie logo on one side and Green Day on the other. Pansy Division kind of sucked though."
Daniel J.: "I just had the unfortunate experience of seeing Green Day at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, and needless to say, was disgusted. Empty-V was video taping the whole damn show, so of course Billie Joe and Co. pulled out all the stops to try to act 'punk rawk'. He led the crowd in chants of 'fuck you' and 'I hate my parents' and 'I am a burnout'. It was pathetic. Then about halfway through, he took out a copy of the SPIN magazine with them on the cover and burned it saying, 'This is all a crock of shit, and if you believe it you are too!' I thought this was cool, but then I wondered if he was only doing it because of the cameras. Well, I still like Green Day, for the music, but as far as respecting them goes, I have lost all hope. This is just my 2 cents so feel free to post your reactions or flames."
