Nemours is also one of only two National Cancer Institute-designated pediatric Community Oncology Research Programs (or “NCORPs”) in the nation. As an NCORP institute, we work together, across our campuses in the North and South, to give kids with cancer truly comprehensive, well-informed care. For example, many children benefit from our weekly system-wide “tumor board” meetings, when specialists representing various medical disciplines in the Delaware Valley and throughout Florida come together to discuss complex cancer cases.
