The M1128 Stryker Mobile Gun System was introduced into service with the United States Army in the 2000s. Built as a sort of stopgap solution to the failure of the XM8 AGS, the MGS earned a fair bit of criticism for itself. The autoloading system had issues, there were bugs with the software, and its ammunition capacity was fairly limited. Opinions among the soldiers that crew it are mixed, but it has survived for a fairly long time.
