Day 710! I was crossing from Katima Mulilo in Namibia to Sesheke in Zambia. Crossing borders is always connected with a certain level of excitement - and a bit of fear! You never know what you are gonna get in terms of offices, fixers, money, paperwork, procedures - and you never know if you will get 30 days or just a week.
But as much as I am always a bit nervous, I also have this weird love for border crossings. There's always something funny going on! This time money fixers got pulled out by the police! I usually expect the process to take a full day - because that way, I will not get frustrated when it takes several hours.
On this day, I was looking for a spark plug in the morning. And when that developed into making new friends, time went by, and I got to the border a bit too late.
