The Unreal Engine 5.4 update is on the horizon!
The expected release of the Unreal Engine 5.4 update brings a promising glimpse of improved performance and user experience. In particular, some performance boosts will be implemented, which will also enable owners of cheaper GPU models to achieve a higher frame rate.
A key element of this update is the focus on Temporal Super Resolution (TSR), an advanced technique to improve the temporal resolution of images. The main performance boost is expected to be realized in the TSR area, which will have a direct impact on the frame rate in the viewport.
