A fairly representative story of the Vietnamese
boat people who fled Vietnam unable to accept the living
conditions in Vietnam after the Americans were
thrashed by the Communists in the 70s.
It caused a massive refugee problem in the 70s and many refugees
drowned at sea.Many of the refugees were of ethnic Chinese origin.
