Several stories about Hera which can make us an idea of why she was such an evil goddess.

- the story of her child made by herself: Hephaestus;
- the story of how she stole Zeus' thunderbolt and tied him up;
- the story of Zeus and his lover Semele;
- the story of another Zeus mistress, Io; and how she was transformed into a cow;
- the stories about Hera and her nemesis: Hercules (Heracles);
- the story of how Hera punished Tiresias;

And from these stories we can make an opinion if she was indeed pure evil.
