Shooting the HK51 full auto machine gun
This is the smallest of my 7.62 battle rifles. A select fire machine gun with a 8.5" barrel and an overall length of 30" with the stock extended.
The HK51 was never made by Heckler & Koch, but rather was a creation on the civilian market by Bill Flemmig of Flemming Arms. The concept was to create a 7.62 NATO platform that mimicked the size of the MP5. In my earlier videos I shoot the original G3, the G3K with the 12.5" barrel and now this one. It has a rate of fire of right around 600-650 rounds per minute, and you feel every one of those rounds leave the muzzle. The small size makes it great for PSD style missions in a non-permissive environment where a larger caliber than the MP5 or HK53 is wanted or needed.
