A new, more compact automatic transmission mode selector appears in the center tunnel. The Discovery Sport is still offered in a seven-seat interior, but it can't be mated to the P300e's plug-in hybrid powertrain that dominates the rear. The plug-in hybrid has a new battery with a capacity of 14.9 kWh (previously 15 kWh), which reduced the electric range according to WLTP from 62 km to 61 km, but in real-world operation the JLR can reach It promises a cruising range of up to 47km.
