Cleveland weather forecast for Monday, July 15, 2024.
We have a tropical start to the week as we've settled into a true summer-time pattern with a dome of heat in the central US and waves of large storm complexes rotating around the periphery of that heat. That's where we happen to be here in Northeast Ohio -- right on the periphery with waves of periodic storm complexes that try to move through the area.
As of this morning, we're tracking a large complex of storms that developed near Chicago last night into northern Ohio. It's in the weakening phase but with lots of lift in the atmosphere out ahead of this, we'll likely pop a few storms and track some rain through the area. All indication is that we clear things out with sunshine this afternoon as we await the next complex of storms that will develop near Chicago again tonight. Highs today once the sun breaks out should push the mid 80s.
Another wave of storms is possible Tuesday morning with a scattered storm threat continuing through the afternoon into the evening. Highs on Tuesday will once again push the mid to upper 80s.
If you're looking for relief, you won't have to wait too long as a cold front will sweep through northern Ohio Wednesday, bringing much drier, more comfortable air as well as some sunshine late week into the upcoming weekend. Temps should settle back into comfortable levels as they reach the mid to upper 70s later this week!

TODAY: Scattered storms with many dry hours in between. Warm and humid. Mid 80s.
TUESDAY: Scattered showers & storms. Mid to upper 80s.
WEDNESDAY: Scattered rain showers, mainly early. Near 80.
