Police Museum Coimbatore building had housed “Hamilton Police Co-operative Hostel Society” since 1918. In 2016, this building was repaired and restored to its original glory.
In this museum, Various types of arms and ammunitions which are used by the police such as rifles, pistols, bullets etc are at display
Also at display are the Weapons seized from forest brigand Veerappan and Malaiyur Mampattiyan.
We can also see the gadgets used by the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad.
