Lt. Gen Susan Helms, commander of U.S. Strategic Command's Joint Functional Component Command for Space and 14th Air Force (Air Forces Strategic), presides over the change-of-command ceremony held on May 28, 2013. During this ceremony, Col. Nina Armagno relinquished command of the 30th Space Wing to Col. Keith Balts. Col. Armagno is moving on to command the 45th Space Wing, Patrick AFB Fla., while Col. Balts has recently returned from a year-long deployment.
