With Robert Jan Stips on keyboards, in 1975 the Earring chose a different musical course. There are no long-drawn-out songs like on Moontan, but shorter, sober songs, less stadium rock, and more depth.
The album sounds a bit too depressing in my opinion, but in retrospect, this turned out to be a welcome addition to their discography. Recorded in their most experimental and creative period.
