Is it Safe to Keep Running with Plantar Fasciitis Heel Pain?
Every runner who is over the age of 40 has likely experienced a bout of plantar fasciitis heel pain or some other injury that has threatened your training program. The most challenging question to ask yourself is always "Should I stop training or keep pushing?"
I recently conducted a study to analyze the Best City for Runners in the US and in the process of collecting my data I talked to many runners who are struggling with plantar fasciitis.
As a recreational runner myself I will usually experience a bout of heel pain once or twice a year. Research suggests 1 in 10 adults will experience heel pain once in a lifetime. [1]
