On our trip to Sweden, one of the first day trips we took was to Gothenburg, where he went to see the beautiful Botanical Garden, which opened in 1919. The interior is filled with flora from around the world, especially the tropics. It really is an oasis of summer in the middle of the Sweden winter. And Herme and Melyn were eager to find signs of home with plants native to the Philippines.
