Real people and faces have more wrinkles, folds, skin pores and imperfections than mannequin heads, so for testing lights, lenses and cameras before a real shoot, I created a more real-world test dummy for testing softboxes etc. You can do this too- get some Super Sculpey at an art supply store, Michael's or online. Add it to a cheap mannequin head which you can get online pretty cheap from Alibabba or Walmart, and add imperfections to the face. Super Sculpey is already skin colored, so you dont really need to paint it, maybe add some makeup and fake eyelashes and a wig.
